I did this last year around new years, and is the first in the stoner metal influanced paintings named after a Electric Wizard record

It is also the painting that encouraged me to start painting bigger paintings.

the painting not huge or anything its just bigger then most of the paining i tend to do.

I have a new large painting for this year that I will be documenting from start to finish

a few weeks a go I got the new Electric Wizard and now the Melvins put out a new record fuck yeah this is a great record from them prety rock steady , not a lot of fucking around just sraight forward heavy rock

nicks dragon fighting octopus

When i first did the consult with Nick I thought wow his arms are too skiny to put a dragon and an octopus on there in so i told no pick one or the other, he agread to one of them (cant remeber which one) then ten minutes later he runs back in my room and goes he wants both I said I try and was a little streesed about it a first but then I started drawn it and it all fell together

most of this is healed

didn't get photos of the front half and the backside photos turned out blurry

I will when he comes in for the healed photos in the next few weeks

this is also the spot in front of the shop that should be free motorcycle parking but isnt it just wasted space in between two car spots, on granville their is wasted space like this in bettween every car that could fit two bikes but its not alowed

this is another one that i drew up last year and just got a round to painting, had fun with it used a differnt red then I normaly use on the owl and i like it only thing I dont like are the claws hes missing a few talons and I didnt notice till it was too late to add them oh well next time

I failed my road test today for my bike , I can try again in a week or so

She told me since I dont have a mirroir on my right I dont shoulder check right far enuf when turning right also she didnt like my stop position on one of my turns so I got to try again

so I draw a lot in my spare time at work in between appts or in the morrning before clients show up , most of the time its either in my sketch book or on random peices of paper that are cleaned up into out line drawing and end up on this wall

most of it is just fun stuff or silly drawings afew of them are for people or freinds

got in the mail this week

got my new helmet in the mail this week which was nice , my cat knocked the one I bought last month off the table wile I was getting ready for work at the start of this month and took a big chip out of the paint.

also got the my tickets to the Murder City Devils show in october. I am supper exited to see them again everytime I ve seen them is been a good time, this time no drink tho got my road test the next day at noon oh well its hard not to have a good time at a murder city show

also Cara comes home today yeahhhhhh!! , shes been staying at her moms looking after her dog for the last few weeks so its been pretty loney around the house. Its also been fun sine she been at her moms we had a few date nights felt kinda like when we first met.

so Erin came back to start a new project if you remember my first post on here her feet were the live/life lock and key tattoos , She is rad, comes and get fun stuff but since she cant sit for long sessions we been doing 2 hours at a time here is the first session on her new day of the dead theam tattoo

and here is just after the second session we got one or two more sessions to go, to be finished so far I realy like how its coming along

so in one of my earlier post Cara took a photo of me painting this is the owl painting I was working on at the time

I dont tend to have much time to paint but I had a few extra days off this week and had a chance to paint these two painting

first ones a fun little devil/demon guy

second is a jack the ripper theam painting of a bat

I started this painting on christmas last year and only got to it this week I usaly have arounf 5 to 15 paintings on the go at any time sometimes it takes me a bit to get to them

spent all Sunday working on my bike , put on a new rear fender ,shorter shocks and a new taillight, also I got a rad tool bag hand made by Rob Weiss yesterday. My bike feels like a new bike again.
